In 1997, the late Dr. Thomas W. Holtzman Jr., the school superintendent, brought educators and community leaders together to create enrichment activities for all students through after school programs and summer camps.

Nearly 25 years later, his legacy continues.  In addition to direct Communities in Schools student support, after-school programs, Summer camps, Mini-Grants, scholarships, and special event, we deliver opportunities with pride to students in Susquehanna Township School District. We also administer HANNA's Pantry in partnership with Susquehanna Township School District. HANNA's Pantry is a member agency of the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank and serves the students, families, and residents of the place we call home.
