A Thanksgiving Tradition Honoring Zach Holtzman

Over the past decades, this annual flag football game, a role reversal between the Senior and Junior Class student athletes, has been a fundraiser driven by the HANNA Foundation Student Representatives. Due to the COVID 19 Pandemic this event, normally held annually before the Thanksgiving break, was cancelled in 2020. In 2021, the students of Susquehanna Township brought it back with HANNA Pride in full force. We are incredibly grateful for our Trustees, Student Representatives, and enthusiastic Student Athletes for honoring the memory of Zach Holtzman with HANNA Pride and respect.

The 2021 HANNA Powder Puff Game at Susquehanna Township High School’s Roscoe Warner Field was held Wednesday, November 24th after school dismissal. Please see the gallery below for photos of this great event. In 2021, we had full Senior and Junior Teams and Coaches, participation of the STHS Marching Band, STHS Cheerleaders, Alumni Guests, parents, students, fans, and other STSD students who hope to compete one day!
